The RESA L Ka is a fully integrated Ka-band electronically scanned array (ESA) terminal from Requtech AB of Sweden, for LEO, MEO and GEO constellations, in on-the-move and on-the-pause use on vehicles, vessels or as a portable unit. The ruggedized terminal is MIL-STD designed, rated IP66 and has field-replaceable fan bays. Gilat, a licensed reseller of the product, lists it under both Land Mobility, a category it describes as serving both civilian and defense applications, and Portables, which it describes as serving military, emergency and remote operations. Gilat's product page also describes a lightweight manpack design with military-grade durability, deployable on marine vessels, vehicles or as a manpack, so this is a dual-use terminal marketed to defence as well as civilian users.
