Request a quoteThe Terrastream 40W/80W Ka-wideband deck BUC is a rugged Gilat Wavestream block upconverter that mounts directly on the feed arm of medium-aperture antennas. It upconverts L-band (950-1950 MHz) to three commercial Ka transmit bands between 27.5 and 30.0 GHz and delivers 20 W (40W model) or 40 W (80W model) of linear power into the feed, with serial or Ethernet monitor and control, adjustable attenuation and forward and reverse output power monitoring. Gilat states it has 52% less volume and 60% less weight than the previous generation at the same power, and that it operates on GEO, MEO and LEO Ka-band satellites.
