The DataPath DKET 3421 is a 4.2 m transportable earth terminal and network hub on a single 463L-compatible skid, from Gilat DataPath. It is based on the DKET architecture that, according to Gilat, commercial and military users have relied on for over two decades, and Gilat describes it as interchangeable between military and commercial networks. The datasheet footer describes DataPath's tactical terminal portfolio as serving defense and government users, so this is a dual-use transportable earth station. It operates in X-, Ku- and Ka-band with multi-carrier operation, a fiber-optic IFL for remote modem operation and a scalable modem architecture of up to 32 modems. No civil works are required, and it can be moved by air, land or sea.
