The BRP 60 is a compact, lightweight airborne satellite terminal from Gilat's BlackRay Airborne family, for beyond-line-of-sight links on medium to large unmanned aircraft systems over geostationary Ku- or Ka-band capacity. It combines a 60 cm carbon-fibre parabolic antenna on 4-axis gimbals, a built-in antenna controller and a Gilat BUC/SSPA, and works with a Gilat MLT-1000 or SkyEdge VSAT modem or any OpenAMIP-certified modem. Gilat's BlackRay page says the family serves military or commercial UAS applications, and the BRP 60 datasheet frames it for tactical UAS carrying out on-board intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions over commercial geostationary satellite capacity. The antenna and modem may be installed as a unified unit or as separate components; the dimensions and weights listed here are for the antenna with BUC and exclude the modem, and the product image is Gilat's BlackRay Airborne family render, which may show equipment that is not part of those figures.
