Request a quoteThe Aerostream 40W/60W Ku-band transceiver (KRFU) from Gilat Wavestream combines a 40 W or 60 W GaN transmit block upconverter with a full Ku-band receive path for airborne satellite communications and in-flight connectivity. It is designed for installation inside the aircraft, is qualified for line-fit and retrofit installations and is backward compatible with heritage modems. Gilat quotes a field-proven MTBF of more than 30,000 hours and compliance with RTCA/DO-160G for commercial aircraft.
