Gas Suppression

Clean-agent gas systems that extinguish fires in server rooms and archives without water damage.

Gas Suppression

Gas suppression floods a sealed room with an extinguishing gas to stop a fire without damaging electronics or paper. It suits server rooms, comms rooms and archives. The room must be reasonably airtight, and occupants need alarms and delay before discharge.

What we do

  • Room volume and tightness assessment
  • Supply and installation of cylinders, pipework and nozzles
  • Detection and control panel installation
  • Warning sounders, strobes and abort and release controls
  • Commissioning and discharge-delay settings
  • Handover and staff safety briefing

What we need from you to quote

  • Room dimensions and ceiling height
  • Number of rooms to protect
  • Room sealing: doors, ducts and air-conditioning openings
  • Existing smoke or fire detection
  • Raised floor or ceiling void volumes
  • Insurer or client requirements for the system type
