PTZ Cameras
Motorised pan-tilt-zoom cameras that cover wide areas and can be steered or set to patrol.
A PTZ camera can rotate, tilt and zoom to follow activity or check details across a large yard, car park or compound. One camera can replace several fixed cameras for overview, although it only looks one way at a time. We place them where an operator or auto-tracking can make real use of the movement.
What we do
- Placement study to decide pole or wall mount locations
- Supply and mounting of PTZ units with suitable brackets
- Power and data cabling, including surge protection for outdoor units
- Patrol routes, presets and auto-tracking setup where supported
- Joystick or software control configuration
- Testing of zoom range and night performance
What we need from you to quote
- Area to be covered and the distance from camera to the furthest point of interest
- Whether someone will be operating the camera live or it should run patrol and recording only
- Poles or structures available for mounting, and their height
- Power and network availability at the mounting point
- Existing recorder or VMS the camera must work with
- Lighting conditions at night in the area
