Fire Suppression
Fixed systems that automatically discharge water, foam or other agents to control a fire.
Fire suppression systems put out or hold a fire until help arrives, and include sprinklers, water mist, foam and kitchen hood systems. The right agent depends on what is being protected. We supply and install, and coordinate with other building trades for pipework and power.
What we do
- Risk review and suppression type recommendation
- Supply of pipework, nozzles, cylinders or valves as required
- Installation and connection to detection and alarm
- Hydrostatic or pressure testing where applicable
- Commissioning with the fire alarm
- Handover with operating and maintenance information
What we need from you to quote
- What is being protected (kitchen, warehouse, server room, workshop)
- Floor area and ceiling height
- Water supply availability and pressure, where water systems apply
- Existing fire alarm and detection
- Insurer requirements, if any
- Whether the building is new or occupied during work
