Broiler Cage Systems
2 to 4 tier chain-type harvesting broiler cages, including conversion of floor houses to cages.
Broiler cages raise 2 to 4 times as many birds in the same house as floor rearing. The chain-type harvesting floor carries birds out tier by tier without pulling out the plastic floor, and a harvesting conveyor and catching platform take them outside. Each cage holds 135 birds (based on 1.8 kg slaughter weight), giving 270, 405 or 540 birds per unit for 2, 3 or 4 tiers.
