Road Drainage Systems

Design and construction of side drains, mitre drains, catch pits and outfalls that keep roads and compounds from washing out.

About Road Drainage Systems

Road Drainage Systems

Most road failures in Uganda start with water, so drainage is built as part of the road and not as an afterthought. We construct lined and unlined channels, scour checks and discharge points sized to the catchment and rainfall at your site.

What we do

  • Drainage survey and flow-path assessment
  • Excavation and shaping of side and mitre drains
  • Concrete, masonry or stone-pitched lining where required
  • Catch pits, headwalls and scour checks
  • Outfall and energy dissipation works
  • Inspection after first rains

What we need from you to quote

  • Site location and road or compound length to be drained
  • Photos of existing flooding or erosion
  • Existing drainage drawings or road design if any
  • Slope of the land and where water can safely discharge
  • Preferred channel type: earth, stone-pitched or concrete
  • Required completion date
